Letter to a Spanish Village

Good Morning Beautiful Spainish Village,

How are you today? Your sienna walls guard us as we pass through your
history. Up and down cobblestone lined streets we soak you in. Your
neighbor, the magnificent Pyrennes mountains, loom before us but we
know that they are wise. We climb 22 km of her side that is lined in
bone chilling winds and flourishing greens. It is the best yet. On
top, nestled in her hair of autum colors Backroads leaders gather to
drink red wine before descending down her veil of ice. Shivering hands
can't move until they finally hold a hot coffee at your twin village
next door. Hot mold wine, salad, gazpacho and other Spanish cuisine
fill us up before heading to warm beds at your cousin village,
Campadron. Winding bike paths, strong ascents and a glowing sun
welcome us, after 91 hard earned kilometers, it was great meeting your
family.

Thank you,

Lauren

PS. Thank you for sending the horses over to take us to dinner, it's a
wonderful treat!!
